Easter: NSCDC Tasks residents to raise alarm over security breaches | The Guardian Nigeria News

Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), yesterday, urged Oyo State residents to cooperate with the NSCDC personnel and promptly report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the nearest security agencies, disclosing that 2,500 officers have been deployed across the state.

The State NSCDC commandant, Augustine Padonu, said the deployment was part of the proactive measure by the command to ensure the safety and security of citizens in Oyo State.

Padonu disclosed that the deployment is aimed towards safeguarding strategic locations, critical national assets, and infrastructure, as well as protect vulnerable citizens in and across the state, particularly across strategic locations as a proactive measure to ensure the security of citizens during the Easter period.
