Namtira Bwala, a student of Lead British International School subjected to bullying by schoolmates
The Federal Government has set up a seven-man committee to investigate the alleged bullying incidents at Lead British International School, Abuja.
This was after the government convened an emergency meeting with management of the school following a disturbing video footage of some students bullying others emerged on the social media earlier on Tuesday.
“The committee’s mandate is to investigate the events as depicted in the videos and come up with expanded investigation to other schools, using Lead British International School as a case study, to address broader social vices,” a statement issued late Tuesday by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Folasade Boriowo, explained.
The statement did not mention names of the committee members.
