The Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN) has assured Nigerians of availability of adequate petrol.

MEMAN gave the assurance as Nigerians across the country struggled to get petrol as many filling stations remained locked throughout the weekend.

It was anticipated that the situation might worsen in Lagos and other parts of the South-West like Ogun, Oyo, Osun and others.

MEMAN assured everything possible is being done to resolve the issue.

“We deeply empathizes with Nigerians facing the challenges occasioned by the current availability of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and the resulting queues at many retail outlets,” MEMAN said.

“We can see the frustration
and difficulties this situation is creating.

“The Downstream Regulator, NMDPRA and other key stakeholders across the supply chain are fully engaged and supportive to eliminate the queues as swiftly as possible.
