Premier league club Chelsea have have agreed a deal in principle for Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer this summer transfer window.
The Blues were looking to sign an offensive player before the transfer window comes to a close on Friday, September 1.
Palmer has been a bit part player for the Cityzens and a move where he could get more playing time could be a factor in the deal.
According to ESPN Chelsea have already reached a £40 million deal for Palmer plus £5 million in add-ons.
He was also linked with a move to Premier League club West Ham this summer window.
Palmer has played one game in the 2023/24 Premier League campaign. Manchester City are first in the Premier League currently with nine points after the first three games.
Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League table with four points after three games played.
