Agbakoba, Tafawa-Balewa’s NIM joins ANN – Punch Newspapers

The Nigeria Intervention Movement has adopted the Alliance for New Nigeria as its political party in the 2019 general elections.

According to a statement by the National Co-Chairmen of the NIM, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) and Dr. Abduljalil Tafawa-Balewa, the organisation made the declaration on Wednesday in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The NIM noted that majority of Nigerians were overwhelmed by the “extant quality of politics” going on in the country as manifested by “reckless pursuits of self-serving and exploitative politics of the entrenched political class.”

It explained further that the pursuit of personal interests by political leaders had continued to ensure that little or no governance was going on in Nigeria.
