Sen Oko Tasks FG On Proper Delineation To End 13 Years Conflict — Leadership Newspaper

As communal clash escalates between two boundary communities of Izzi in Ebony State and Nfuma in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, the Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Dr Rose Oko, Thursday, tasked the federal government proper delineation of the boundary between the two communities to end the 13-year-old conflict.

Oko stated this in a post on her Facebook wall, against the backdrop of the nature of the dimension the conflict has assumed, and called on the federal government to order the deployment of military as well as send relief materials to the affected communities.

She described the situation as war following the huge number of deaths and injured including property worth millions of Naira destroyed since the conflict started on June 18, 2018.
