The Honourable Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, Tuesday said that the Federal Fire Service in the last twenty years has not seen the kind of equipment they have procured under this present administration.
Dambazzu stated this in Abuja on the occasion of the decoration of the new Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr Ibrahim A. Liman.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the support he has given not just the Fire Service but the entire Ministry of Interior. “I can estimate that in the last twenty years, they have not seen kind of equipment they have seen during this present government. So we must thank his Excellency for this support.
“A whole lot has been achieved during this period. We have acquired a number of Fire Engines and other platforms to be able to provide the necessary service to Nigerians and we are still expecting more of these equipment to come.”
