Bobrisky files notice of appeal against his sentence

Popular Crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju a.k.a. Bobrisky, has filed a notice of appeal against his conviction before a Federal high court in Lagos. In the notice of appeal, Bobrisky asked the Court of Appeal to set aside the six months conviction maximum imprisonment sentence imposed on him and in its place impose a fine of N50,000 on each of the counts against him.

 

Bobrisky was on Friday, April 12, sentenced to six months imprisonment over naira abuse with no option of fine. Read here.
