UI shut over students’ protest

Following a mild protest Monday by the students of the University of Ibadan, (UI) over scarcity of water and lack of electricity supply to the campus, the institution’s authorities have suspended lectures for two weeks and ordered the students to vacate the school immediately.
The suspension was also occasioned by the prevailing hardship being faced by many Nigerians in the wake of the nationwide fuel scarcity.
