Ahead of Saturday’s Lagos City Marathon, the Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversion across the metropolis and deployed 300 officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA to maintain traffic.
At a news conference on Wednesday in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Prince Anofiu Elegushi said the traffic diversion would be between 7am and 2pm on Saturday.
The 42 Km marathon race will kick off at the National Stadium, Surulere and terminate at Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.
