Abuja based menswear brand, Africana Couture to mark Nigeria’s Independence Day and 57th year anniversary as a sovereign nation, has called on Nigerians to become one as we strive for greatness as a country.
In a time where Nigeria’s division is been negotiated Africana Couture as a brand is politically using its voice to canvass for a unified Nigeria, one free of tribalism, bigotry etcetera. Symbolically using our 3 pieces traditional attire for the 3 major ethnic groups in Nigeria. The WAZOBIA ( YORUBA, HAUSA, IGBO) a MINORITY from EDO in the name of Efex Efosa Iyamu (the model) has been able to fit into each of the ethnic groups through these pieces.
This is a clarion call to all citizens, sons, and daughters of the motherland (NIGERIA) that our UNITY isn’t NEGOTIABLE.
