Despite the presence of Special Anti-robbery squad and the Lagos State Taskforce on Lagos Island, another youth identified as Ike aka Plastic was on Tuesday night shot dead by rival group from Onola area of the Island.
The deceased, a carpenter, who was among the Okepopo boys that clashed Onola boys recently was shot on the head by a 5-man gang at about 8.11pm on Tuesday at Thomas Street, Lagos Island by the invaders.
According to eye witness, the invaders came with hired Keke-Marwa through Adeniji-Adele road, armed with two guns and stopped the tricycle in front of where the deceased and other youths were discussing.
There was pandemonium in the area as everyone ran to avoid being killed.
Calmness returned to the area after-stern looking policemen were drafted to the area to maintain peace.
