Over 100 delegates are expected to attend an International Film Conference in Kenya to seek ways of promoting and accelerating development of film industry.
The Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Arts Hassan Wario, said the conference would help to create a platform for actors in the region to exchange ideas and network with others from different parts of the globe.
“The conference will help to harness the potential of the creative arts in East Africa region,’’ Wario said in a statement on Thursday.
The Nov. 15 to 17 meeting is a collaborative effort between the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), the European Union (EU), the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the French Embassy in Kenya.
