Herdsmen/Farmers crisis: Adamawa Govt urged to implement pending reports

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa chapter, has urged the State Government to implement all reports on panels of inquiry regarding farmers/herdsmen clashes in the state.

The association made the call in a statement Wednesday signed by its Chairman, Most Rev. Stephen Mamza, and Secretary, Rev. Anthony Elishama.

It also urged the state government to expedite action and ensure fairness and justice in the work of the latest administrative panel of inquiry over Numan/Demsa crisis.

The association condemned the latest violence in the state that led to destruction of lives and property and places of worship, and urged the government to find lasting solution to the problem.
