Popular Yoruba actress cum movie producer, Liz Da Silva will be hosting the 3rd edition of her annual Ankara Ball on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at the Balmoral Hall in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
This year’s event, which promises to be grander than the previous editions, will be headlined by Fuji music star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Apala maestro, Musiliu Haruna Ishola.
The concept behind ‘Ankara Ball’, according to the actress, is promote unity of Africans through our culture, organise fashion pageants and assist the less privileged through proceeds from the event yearly.
She added that the event is expected to help develop youths positive behaviour toward our cultural costumes and appreciation of our culture through our way of life such as our mode of dressings.
The event will showcase choreography, stage play, Ewi, panegyric music, fashion parade, dance troupe and musical performance.
