Atiku visits Akinola in Ibadan, laments insecurity in Nigeria

FORMER Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Dawud Akinola, in his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a welcome address, a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Dr Saka Balogun, described Abubakar’s visit to the leader of Yoruba Muslims as a gesture of goodwill to Muslims in the South West and indeed the entire southern Nigeria.

Dr Balogun said Nigerians were waiting for the emergence of the Alhaji Abubakar presidency to clear the mess that had been created by the present administration.

He prayed Allah to grant the wish of the Turakin Adamawa to steer the ship of the country.
