Court case distracted me for five months

The Senator representing Jigawa Southeast Senatorial District in Jigawa State, Senator Mustapha Khabib, attributed his absence from his constituency to distractions caused by a court case that lasted for five months.

The senator revealed this while answering questions from the news media in Dutse. He was responding to the recent judgment by the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which upheld his election victory.

Senator Mustapha Khabib explained, “The situation was very taxing and distracting, which took up a significant portion of my attention for a good five months.”

He continued, “I’m grateful to Almighty God because, in His infinite mercy, He confirmed what was initially confirmed….
