NINTH President General of apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, 65, a lawyer, economist, and former minister, was in Lagos, last Thursday, to address Ndigbo in the state on restructuring and why they must unite, end their differences and hold credible Ohanaeze election in the state.
Nwodo, who had his primary and secondary education in Enugu and tertiary education at the University of Ibadan and London School of Economics, was received at the Practice Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos by Ohanaeze groups from the local councils of Lagos, numerous cultural and dance troupes as well as Biafran agitators, who displayed placards with various inscriptions such as “Biafra is the…
