Disarm killer herdsmen in Ndokwa land, USIL tells FG

OBIARUKU—UKWUANI Social Improvement League, USIL, yesterday, urged the Federal Government to take urgent steps to disarm killer herdsmen operating in Ndokwa communities, Delta State, saying the people could not continue to come under attack by those who claim to be cattle rearers.

USIL, in a statement by its Chairman, Mr. Chidi O. Uwabuofu said: “Government’s fundamental role is to protect the lives and property of its citizens and to ensure that they don’t live in fear while going about their daily businesses. Any government which fails in this very regard could be termed anti-people or a government that has lost its focus.
