Senate President Bukola Saraki has “consulted” with Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, on the 2019 elections.
He visited Okowa at the Government House in Asaba, the Delta State capital, on Saturday.
Speaking on the significance of the meeting, Saraki said: “Governor Okowa is a very important party member, he is someone I truly respect and I have come to listen to him, hear his views and to consult with him.”
According to information from the Twitter handle of the Delta State Government, Saraki visited Okowa in the company of Senator Dino Melaye; Senator Rafiu Ibrahim and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
