Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ Album Maintains Top Spot On Billboard Chart For Third Consecutive Week

Drake is on a mad run still as his new album, Scorpion, at No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for a third consecutive week since its release.

The Canadian born star sold over 260,000 comparable collection units of the album, making it the first since Adele’s 2015 album 25 to sell in no less than 260,000 units in every one of its initial three weeksMuch.

As expected, the greater part of Drake’s success is from streaming. 82 percent of the album’s aggregate was comprised of streaming units, while physical copies totalled 29,000.

In its third week, Scorpion piled up 290.4 million on-demand audio streams. This was after a record-breaking streaming opening week with Scorpion totalling up to  745.9 million on-demand streams in week one. On week two it totalled up to 391 million on-demand streams.
