Perhaps in their own way to answer Nike’s powerful 30th-anniversary ad which featured NFL player Colin Kaepernick which generated so much buzz around the world, rival sportswear company Adidas has announced a collaboration with Childish Gambino — a.k.a. Donald Glover — via social media on Wednesday (September 5).

The Adidas Originals official Twitter and Instagram accounts revealed the news along with an animated video featuring Gambino who is notable for his ‘This is America’ hit song which sparked up debates and conversations around human rights, gun violence in America and the black lives matter movement.
“A collaboration without boundaries, welcome to the family @ChildishGambino,” read the caption on Instagram.
