50 Cent apologised to Lastonia Leviston, who was seated in the crowd during the court hearing on July 21, saying the competitive nature of the rap game caused him to post the tape of her.
A jury decided on July 10 that 50 Cent must pay $5 million to Lastonia Leviston for posting a sex tape of her according to Daily News. Leviston has a child with Rick Ross.
The Jury said the rapper must pay damages to Leviston, who has a daughter with Rick Ross, for two counts. The first is for violating her civil rights by posting an image of her without her permission and the second is for intentional affliction of emotional distress.
Each count is $2.5 million. During the recent court hearing, 50 Cent apologised to her saying: ‘I’m sorry if you feel like I hurt you.’ 50 was supposedly all smiles as he gave his report to the jury which consists of four women and two men.
