It appears the new cool in the Nigerian music industry is to release your own cover of Adele’s massive hit, ‘Hello’. Like many of his colleagues including Omawumi, Praiz, Ruby Gyang and more recently, Niyola amongst others, Nigerian pop act and producer, Samklef also dropped his own cover days ago.
The prolific beatmaker added his professional touch as a producer to the song by altering Adele’s version to give it a reggae feel. He subsequently uploaded the video on video streaming site, YouTube.
YouTube however will have none of it and the video was immediately brought down from the site for copyright infringement.
Samklef also jokingly shared the news with his fans on Twitter, thanking them for supporting his version.

Thanks 4 luving my #hello reggaebeat version by adele … My video mix was pulled down on youtube lol https://t.co/Wu4uUxTqgt
