On Sunday, March 13, 2016, wife of billionaire business man, Razak Okoya, Sade threw a lavish party in honour of her late grandmother, Alhaja Bilikisu Monisola Ashabi Shittu (née Shomoye) in Lagos.
Alhaja Shittu died on March 3, at the ripe age of 112. She was buried on Friday, March 4 in accordance with Islamic injunction, at the Vaults and Gardens Mayfair, Lekki. Mama Shittu is survived by two children – Alhaja Nimota Adeleye (the mother of Sade Okoya) and Deaconess Rhoda Adebanke Oduniyi.
The burial ceremony, which held at Oluwa Ni Sola Estate, the Okoya family’s sprawling abode in Lagos, had the likes of Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Subomi Balogun, Samuel Adedoyin, Bisi Olatilo, Dele Momodu, Olu Okeowo, Comedian Tee-A among others in attendance.
The guests who all shared in a yellow and brown Ankara aso-ebi, were entertained by Apala music maestro, Musuliu Haruna Ishola.
