Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, scored his first Serie A goal of the season for SS Lazio who spanked Empoli 2-0 on Sunday to continue their revival under new coach, Simone Inzaghi, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 23 year old latched onto Miroslav Klose’s pass before sweeping the ball into the net the with the inside of his boot for his first goal Serie A goal in ten months and his second this season
Onazi last scored in the Serie A in Lazio’s 4-2 win over Napoli on the 31st of May, 2015.
Onazi has so far made ten appearances in the league and 15 in all competitions for Lazio who are now eight on the Serie A log with 48 points from 33 games.
Lazio face leaders Juventus in their next month on Wednesday.
