In recent times, Nollywood actor, Sunkanmi Omobolanle has not been frequently featuring in movies like he used to.
The Oyo state-born role interpreter, who started his career as a kid actor (courtesy of his father, Sunday Omobolanle aka Papi Luwe) has revealed that lack of good scripts is one of the reasons he seldom features in movies lately.
‘Well scripts haven’t been encouraging lately and I want more challenging roles, not just the bad boy-ish. I need stronger roles. I always take my time to get better. It’s all about re-inventing oneself anyways,’ he told THENETNG.
Meanwhile, the Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate has just completed a new star-studded movie, The Knot. The new flick which stars the likes of Bimbo Akintola, Ayo Adesanya, Saidi Balogun, Gabriel Afolayan among others, according to Sunkanmi, will be released to all cinemas across Nigeria in the coming months.
