29-year-old record label exec, Ubi Franklin is living his dreams. Come Sunday, November 1, 2015, he’ll get married to his boo, Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro.
‘Ive always said to myself that I’ll get married when I’m 29, and it’s finally happening. I turned 29 in February’ he said to our correspondent.
He proposed to Lilian in March 2015, the couple got engaged in August and all is set for the white wedding in November.
Speaking further with NET, Ubi reacts to gists that he’s dated several girls before deciding to settle down with Lilian.
In his words, ‘I don’t think there’s anyone that’ll say they got married to the first girl they dated. The reasons are beyond your control at times. Everything is planning and God, it’s God that plans everything and makes everything possible’
When asked to describe her in one sentence, he said, ‘She’s an amazing person, there’s no perfect human being, but when you are about to get married you just find someone that fits that position, she fits the position and if I want to describe her, words can’t do justice to it’.
He continued to say marriage won’t change anything about him especially when it comes to making money. ‘Nothing can change, when it comes to making money. Money has to be made. The most important thing about money is that it has to be made, so I cant slow down the hustle’ he said.
