5 Injured as bus rams into tricycle in Aba

ABA- Tragedy struck, yesterday, at the Ogbor Hill waterside bridge when a bus belonging to popular transport company crashed into a tricycle and injured 5 persons, along Ikot Ekpene road, Aba, Abia State.

The Ogbor Hill waterside bridge had become notorious for auto crashes as no week passes without vehicles crashing into another, and leaving commuters injured. Some residents have blamed on the narrow nature of the road and the activities of cattle rearers and abattoir in the area.

Eyewitnesses told Vanguard that the bus with number plate, XA 640 UMD, was descending the hill when its brakes failed and it crashed into a tricycle at the bus stop and injured 3 passersby and 2 passengers.
