Pep Guardiola hailed his side after City made it 16 Premier League wins in a row.
City’s run matches the 16 wins in succession he managed as Barcelona boss in 2011 and is now just three short of the 19 he oversaw when in charge of Bayern Munich in 2014.
It means he holds the record for the longest winning run in Premier League, La Liga and the Bundesliga history – and he says he could not be prouder of his staff.
