‘Nigeria cement to witness positive outlook in 2018′

One of Nigeria’s leading research franchises, RMB Nigeria Stockbrokers, RMBNS has predicted a positive outlook for Nigeria Cement Sector in 2018, even as it urged Investors to overweight Dangote Cement at N271/share.

The researcher believes 2018 could be the beginning of the next growth cycle for cement consumption in Nigeria as it forecasts cement consumption to rebound at +7 percent in 2018 compared with a 17 percent decline for 2017.

Head of Research at RMBNS, Gbenga Sholotan said supportive cement consumption drivers from the emergence of concrete roads and housing deficit could unlock 53mt and 24mt respectively by 2020e.
