‘Buhari’s visit to Taraba based on gov’s achievements’

Jalingo—The visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Taraba State has been attributed to the achievement of Governor Darius Ishaku in the area of peace, despite consistent communal and tribal crises.

President Muhammadu Buhari in Jalingo, Taraba State, met with the various traditional rulers, listened to the complaints of the various ethnic groups in the State.

One of the media aides to the governor, Bala Danhabu, said Governor Darius mobilised the members of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state to welcome the President as the father of all Nigerians and not that of All Progressives Congress, APC.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has assured the public of the safety of its medical outreach, which started on Monday in Wukari, Taraba.
