As the race for different national offices of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) hots up, an aspirant seeking the National Publicity Secretary’s office, Abubakar Sidiq Usman, has insisted that whatever propaganda used by opposition political parties will be countered with facts and figures when he emerge as the party’s image maker.
Abu Sidiq, a popular blogger and member of Buhari Media Organisation (BMO), specifically identified the main opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s African Democratic Congress (ADC) as part of those misinforming Nigerians on the achievements of the APC, stressing that such trend will be corrected if elected as the party’s spokesman.
Speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja after picking his Nomination and Expression of interest to contest at the forthcoming APC national convention, Sidiq revealed that he has consulted wideky and gotten the backing of all the stakeholders before picking the forms.
