The Director General of National information Technology Development Agency NITAD Dr Isa Ali ibrahim Fantami has said that the agency is focusing attention towards boosting the morale of young innovators targeted at developing information technology in the country.
Fantami stated this during a one day workshop organized by the agency tagged start up Friday for young ICT innovators north west zone,held in Kano.
He said the information technology ecosystem was in the increase in northwest as a result of establishing IT Hubs by young innovators,which pave way for the development of information technology.
Dr Ali Fantami maintained that the workshop was aimed at identifying and bringing together young innovators to network and fine tuned modalities of moving the sector forward.
The DG noted that the agency is putting much emphasis on seven strategic pillars aimed at transforming the IT sector.
