Hon. Kingsley Fanwo is the Director-General, Media and Publicity, to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State. In this interview with a select journalists in Lagos, he bares his mind on the political situation in the state, expressing confidence that his principal will win the November 2 Governorship election. Since the governor declared his intention to seek re-election, what are the feelers you have been getting from the people?
We’ve been impressed by the show of solidarity and support by our party members, chieftains, foot soldiers on the streets and to even shock you, by the leaders of the opposition parties who believe that the governor has done quite a lot in the state. They are already showing us great support to ensure that the second term ambition of the governor comes into fruition. Also, the governor has assured the people of the state that he is not going to play politics between now and November when the governorship election will hold. …
