Ganduje Probe: Panel Asks Public To Forward With Useful Information

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry (JCI) on Public Properties and Assets Recovery established by Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State to probe the previous administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, has called on the public to provide its secretariat with useful and genuine information that will help in its investigations.

The panel said anyone with such information should write to the commission’s secretariat.

Chairman of the panel, Justice Farouk Adamu, stated this while delivering his inaugural speech at the State High Court 3, located at Audu Bako Secretariat, official venue of the JCI’s proceedings.

According to him, the panel would give fair hearing to all parties involved, devoid of sentiments as its mission was not to witchhunt anyone.

He noted that the panel was on a fact-finding mission and thereafter make recommendations to the State government for possible implementation.
