Abia South All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial aspirant Mr Chinedu Onyeizu says the best gift of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to Nigerian youths is the signing into law of the Not Too Young to Run Act.
Onyeizu, 38, said this on Monday in Abuja while addressing newsmen on his Senatorial aspiration.
“I tell my fellow youths that the the best gift President Buhari has given to young Nigerians, is to initiate that social contract with youths, and by signing into law, the Not too Young to Run Bill.
“I encourage them to leverage on it, of course, that Bill has taken away that legal barrier that youths are confronted with,” he said.
He, however, added that though economic, institutional and social barrier were still there preventing youths from going into politics, the president should be commended for signing the Bill.
