NAN commends NITDA for donating digital centre

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) had commended the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) for donating a Digital Divide Bridge Centre (DDBC) to the agency to accelerate digital knowledge among public institutions.

The DDBC, which was recently donated to the agency, was targeted at providing space for public institutions to be digitally literate.

Mr Christian Okoro, the Assistant Director, Technical Services of NAN, said that the centre would enhance digital learning in the public service space.

According to him, it is a good thing that the centre was donated to NAN which will go a long way in deepening digital literacy.

“The digital bridge centre will be a place where we can train people whenever we have trainings and NITDA can use the facility if they need it.

“It is a good thing that the centre came to NAN because it will improve the process of learning anytime we have training,” Okoro said.
