The Nassarawa state government has placed a one-month suspension on three teachers of the Government Science Secondary School Nasarawa-Eggon caught on camera seriously flogging their students for failing to resume on the date of resumption. Watch the video here.
The state commissioner of Education, Ahmed Tijani, announced the suspension of the teachers when he spoke to newsmen in the state yesterday January 18th. He also announced the ban of corporal punishment in all public schools in the state.
