Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun has ordered the evacuation of buildings affected by last Saturday’s gas explosion at Ita Oshin area in Abeokuta.
He gave the order when he paid an on-the-spot assessment to the scene of the incident, on Sunday evening, that this would allow for integrity tests to be carried out on the affected buildings.
Just as he assured those whose properties were destroyed in the incident of adequate compensation on the part of his government while also taking over the cost of treatment of those in the hospital.
