Ahead of the 2019 general election, leaders and elders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, have resolved to conduct primaries for aspirants seeking the party’s ticket to represent the local government in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The resolution was reached at a meeting PDP held at its secretariat in Agbor, Delta State, which was attended by 19 leaders and elders of the party in the area including the Chairman of the party in the area, Mr Collins Bello; Chief Philip Igumbor; Rear Admiral Peter Eluma (retd); Col. Godwin Eboma (retd); Prof. J.E. Alika; Chief Isioma Okonta; Mr Sunny Ogwu; Cosmos Igbinijie; Mr. Peter Idion and Mrs. Cecilia Ogbonyeri, among others.
In his remark, Collins Bello, who presided over the meeting, said four aspirants were vying for Ika South constituency seat in Delta State…
