9Mobile, one of the nation’s leading telecommunication services providers, says it has a mandate to register no fewer than 10 million people in rural areas in the national identity management enrollment scheme.
According to it, this is part of its support to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
The telco gave the assurance at a stakeholders engagement workshop and capacity building interactive session organised in collaboration with the NIMC in Abuja, a statement by 9mobile said.
The workshop was organised to examine the capabilities and challenges in the NIMC service delivery process to proffer solutions to identified challenges.
